The formula of converting the Byte to Kilobyte is represented as follows :
Now let us apply the above formula and see how to manually convert Byte (B) to Kilobyte (kB). We can further simplify the formula to ease the calculation.
Kilobyte = Byte / 1000
Kilobyte = Byte x (1 / 1000)
Kilobyte = Byte x 0.001
